Mereo 4 Awarded Supply Chain Management Contract with The Nature Conservancy

Mereo 4 Holdings, LLC announced today that it has been awarded a supply chain management contract with The Nature Conservancy (www.nature.org) to provide comprehensive planning, procurement, and logistics services in support of Palmyra Atoll.

The atoll, one of the Northern Line Islands located directly south of the Hawaiian Islands, is co-owned and co-managed by The Nature Conservancy and the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS). The USFWS manages the Palmyra Atoll National Wildlife Refuge that protects one of the richest marine ecosystems in the world out to twelve Nautical miles. The Nature Conservancy owns the largest landmass within the atoll and operates a remote laboratory to study both terrestrial and marine
ecosystems in this unique, remote environment.

“We are honored to have been selected by The Nature Conservancy to support their mission with our Environmental Sustainment capability,” said James Clark, Chief Executive Officer for Mereo 4. “this is an exciting program which will utilize our expertise with the planning, sourcing, and procurement of diverse products, the deployment of information systems and management of supply networks, and the logistics of ocean and air transportation.

“TNC has long managed the complicated logistic and supply chain requirements of Palmyra in-house. This new relationship with M4 will give us the capacity to focus our time and energy on our core mission – the conservation and restoration of Palmyra’s ecosystem.” said Chad Livingston, of The Nature Conservancy.
